Welcome
Georger Barker - ODSSA Warden Our aim is to provide a central point of reference for Youth Sailing, including racing and training in the area around Oxford, England. As you can see the web site is divided into four main sections School & youth groups, Sailing Courses, People & the place and Related Sites

Sailing Courses provides information on the YSTC sailing courses for young people. You can see how many places are available on the courses etc. If you are an adult looking for a sailing course you need to Oxford Sailing Club or another local sailing club.
School & youth groups deals with ODSSA. ODSSA is a registered charity No 900436 which provides sailing for school and youth groups. If you are a teacher or youth leader, this is where you start. Curriculum justification, how to persuade your superiors, what you need to do as a leader is all here.
People & the place is the archive section. Here you can find out about the people, the boats and the history of youth sailing at Farmoor. Most stuff can be found here.
Related Sites has links to useful sites such as the weather, fleet captains, class associations and other local sailing clubs in the area some of which run courses and most of which will have some sort of youth activity.

OSC & ODSSA provide many other facilities for young sailors from long term hire of boats to race training and support. We facilitate instructor training and sailing for the disabled. If there is something you would like to do getin touch.
